Last year, a photographer named James Hardy, messaged me for a modelling opportunity with him while I was at Florida Relays. He felt I could help build his business. He was so professional and I got such beautiful pictures and posted some on IG. I have professional photos in my portfolio from major companies like New Balance Canada/ U.S and Hudson Bay, but the pictures that 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐦𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐚𝐧 𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐩𝐡𝐨𝐭𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐚 𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧. We didn't have what most major companies have but He delivered with what he had. I wouldn't have gotten this opportunity without his photos 😭. No matter where you are and how small or unqualified you may feel, if you have a passion for something, keep working at it.
