And I’ll never understand how you did a marathon by accident but it’s one of the many things I love about you and your weird brain. Also, that you can fall asleep literally anywhere but without fail try to convince the room that you didn’t miss any of the movie. Movies about purpose brought us together. A weekend of getting deep about how best to live a life — and better love humans while doing it — over countless documentary screenings and hikes and laughs. I hope we get to do that forever. Look, really look, at the world around us and show up for it. Thank you for being my couch queen, someone who will ponder the universe with me, for being a shoulder to cry on, not judging my pho addiction, and always being down to reorganize the pantry.
