Before you think we are sports mad parents WE ARE NOT ours don’t do this, they play rugby IF they want but I know lots of yours love rugby and are missing their training sessions. He said these are three games you only need a ball and a sibling or guardian to play with. If you have not got a garden play inside with a balloon. ONE - someone has the ball and you have to touch the opposition on a certain part of the body. Then they try get you, you can agree shoulders, bums, tummies are the target. (Apparently it teaches them to run with the ball🤷‍♀️) TWO - straightforward running and pasting. Speed it up. Slow it down. Agree an end line. Stay in line. THREE - Tackle practice. Apparently he meant get your face on my butt cheek 🤷‍♀️ and your shoulder into my hip. Other things we do include trying to catch a spiralling ball out of the sky. (I hate that). Tig and dodge ball are favourites.
