This is such an interesting time. It’s almost as though the universe is asking us to slow down and get really clear about what we truly value. What we truly need. The things that we stress about, run around pouring our energy into; are we getting a true return on our investment or are these false idols sapping us of our life force and uniqueness? Everyone talks about the power of the word ‘yes’ but I’m more interested right now in the power if the word ‘no’. I for one am going to spend this year subtracting all that isn’t nourishing to my spirit, stripping down to only the most salient things. The most essential to my growth. Other people’s expectations, desires, needs, projections can make us feel this pressure to conform, to please. Lets let that go this year and come back to our true home. That quiet voice within that’s always been with us, eager to help if we would only listen. Life can be cripplingly painful at times, cripplingly disappointing. We can get in our own way. Our manifestations show up and then we discover that we actually aren’t ready to receive them. But I believe in an abundant universe. And that the sun always rises again. And sometimes what we feel was a mistake, when the future happens, we realize was actually the exact perfect thing. One thing I’ve learned is to be careful about optics. The appearance of something, the apparency, the surface can tempt us to give something either too much credit or not enough. So listen to your body, how does it FEEL to YOU. We always know, but survival behavior can cloud our actions. The comfort of outdated patterns that maybe were necessary at one time but no longer serve us in this present moment. So I say to you, powerful alchemists! Keep your hearts, minds and spirits open, kind and loving. Especially to yourselves. And never be afraid to say no. Or change your mind. Or go against the group.
