I crave the little, simple things especially when I get frustrated with how every day tasks (like laundry) can be such a pain to maneuver on tour. Watching what feels like the entire world seemingly put “closed” signs outside their lives is a very strange feeling to someone who spends so much of their time in every corner of the world except their own. I regret taking even a single moment I spent traveling for granted. The grass is always greener. I’m hoping to emerge from my little corner that I call home exhausted from creating (hi atc3) and with a new appreciation for all the places, from a mile away to thousands of miles away, I get to adventure through. Wherever you are I’m rooting for you, I know it all feels very grim and gray right now and that can be overwhelming. Call family and friends, stay together even when we have to be apart, support local communities and businesses, and try to find a small moment of gratitude each day for those on the front lines and those battling this horrific virus.
