In bloom ~
‘Craftolution' inside the atelier ~ while we miss being together creatively, we illuminate the alchemical moment of fitting the ‘Hydrozoa’ dress earlier this year.
Cellular deep-sea aquarelles of dark purples and shades of turquoise were oil-painted by Shelee Carruthers, 3D layered transparent lasercut PetG leaves were then heatbonded to the numerous transparent digitally printed glass-organza layers. The file-work of each layer is drawn to hang upwards, blooming aquatically with each movement like living coral.
