“It’s about concepts and ideas as opposed to the cost of things or how hard they are to find,” says designer @thomfilicia of his philosophy. “Design should enhance the world around us without being intimidating.” While Filicia infuses all of his projects with a personal touch, his most recent design accomplishment—his own home—is a testament to his keen eye and distinctive aesthetic.
In the bedroom of his West Chelsea apartment, the bed is from the Thom Filicia Home Collection for @vanguardfurniture, topped with pillows and bedding by Filicia for @easternaccents. The coatrack is by @erich_ginder, the wallcovering is by Filicia for MDC, and the curtains are of a @kravetinc linen.
