I was attending beauty school to get my Cosmetology license because I thought I wanted to be a hairstylist! 2. I drove a forest green Saturn. 3. My eyebrows were teetering on the edge of extinction & I seem to be wearing that popular “invisible lashes mascara”😂 4. I was also a waitress, either at this time or shortly after. 5. 20 year old me thought I knew the direction I was going to go, but my road would twist and turn, way beyond being a hairstylist. In beauty school I quickly learned I enjoyed the feeling of making women FEEL beautiful with makeup, more than hair. Women just complained about their hair being “too this”, “not enough of that”🙈 LESSON: never tweeze your eyebrows this thin - I’m surprised the hair grew back! AND sometimes just take one little step in the direction you think you want to go, you don’t need it all figured out, that’s too much pressure and God will open up new doors and give you new pathways you didn’t even dream or think up, that will be beyond what you could’ve ever hoped or prayed for. 🙈Still feel so weird knowing this photo was taken 21 years ago! 😂」4月20日 11時46分
