“This little old lady has a peculiar tic. She decides that some floors are impossibly slippery from time to time. If we put carpet runners down, she has problems walking on them without tensing up and then ending up like Bambi on ice.
Luckily she has (by her self) developed an interesting technique to solve the problem. If she moves backwards across those floors, they are no longer slippery! It’s like magic 😂 
So now she can calmly and without stress, get up on the sofa for snuggles and naps. I’m very proud of her since this technique she has developed gives her confidence and autonomy and has taken away the risk of her hurting herself on our 'non slip' carpets.
