Our @nasajuno spacecraft photographed the giant planet's swirling cloud tops during an April 10 flyby. At the time, the spacecraft was about 5,375 miles (8,650 kilometers) from Jupiter’s cloud tops and was traveling about 127,000 mph (204,000 kilometers per hour) relative to the planet. We're studying Jupiter because understanding its origins will help us understand the origins of our solar system. It's a big planet — with big secrets. ⁣
