Just kidding, this is only part of my quarantine workout. If you have been searching for off-ice training and still haven’t found enough ideas amongst all the amazing tips out there, here are a few more!
Warmup:
* Leg swings forward and back (bent and straight)
* Leg swings side to side (bent and straight)
* Spiral/arabesque leg swings * Hip circles * Second position/wide leg squats * Airplane/single leg RDL * Y-spin position * Back bends * Beillmann position
Plyometrics:
* jump rope (2 feet, 1 feet, alternating, and doubles)
* 2 foot jumps (forward-backwards, side-to-side, and around the clock)
* Repeat above on one foot * Quick feet exercises * Jump touch (clap feet together in air)
* One foot big jumps
* Single-rotation jumps (both directions!) * Single-rotation jumps with landing position (both directions!)
* 1-1/2 rotation jumps, double rotation jumps, etc., etc.
* Axel takeoff hops * Bell jump (axel takeoff, clap feet together in air)
* Axels (try both directions!)
* Double axel, etc.
* Repeat takeoff hops and all other jumps and try both rotational directions! (I skipped all these on the video for the sake of time)
* Big squat jumps
* High-knee jumps
And stretch!
