(I shot through a small window of leaves which created the nice artsy effect in the background. I like this better than a clean tight shot, how about you?). 2) Downy Woodpecker male raising his crest to impress a female. 3) Piliated Woodpecker!! I’ve seen them pass through the woods behind my house before, but never had a camera ready.
