I came across this video last night. So many feelings... of gratitude and joy but also sadness. About how our world has changed and the new normal... what will that look like for our children? Schools are talking about teachers wearing masks and distancing the kids as much as possible in the fall, or maybe continue to online learn until... who knows when? My heart hurts for these young kids who want to touch and hold and kiss and play. Will this ultimately affect them in the future? I’m trying to not spend too much time thinking about the “what if’s” and focus on the “what now”. All I can do is give my kids a place that feels safe and somewhat normal and take it day by day. There is one thing I do know- nothing stays the same. Good or bad. So I’m going to just roll with the waves and let go of the rest. ❤️
