Him not being with the team that year actually opened the door to play more my natural position, to get minutes and experience of hitting some last second shots. Phil had a hunch that I could make those last second shots so he gave me the opportunities during the first season to shoot those shots, and it paid off later on. Once Michael came back I needed to adjust my game and play different positions actually. Overall, once I got adjusted with my weight and strength I think I was fine playing with the Bulls and rest of my career.”
