The big guest star of the episode was Chevy Chase who was in NYC and now, not able to get to L.A. So they replaced him with Fred Willard and payed me extra to sit in Fred’s trailer with him and help him learn all the lines in a very short amount of time. I spent a majority of that week of 9/11 with Fred. In shock ...... One of the sweetest, most professional actors I’ve ever known. I think we were a comfort to each other at that time.
