During these unusual times we all find ourselves in 2020, we are all experiencing a new way of living. Life as a ballerina is rewarding and demanding. It is a very magical world, but don’t under estimate what goes on behind the scenes, it’s not as simple as it seems. We as humans, will always have challenges. But the physical and mental demand that ballet asks from us, I swear by the fact that it prepares you for life. Sometimes in life, things happen that are completely out of our control and we have to sit back and observe which I believe is a good way of reflecting on our lives. During this time of COVID-19 the dance world has changed as everyone’s dream of performing is really in our dreams. I am a 2nd Soloist at the Semperoper Ballett @semperoperballett. It is very sad but understandable that all performances have been cancelled for the rest of the season.
