And to those that didn’t— thanks for the motivation;) Thank you to all my teachers who worked with my insane schedule in the past five years of online school and to the ones who laid my foundation. Above all, thank you to my parents for enabling all of this to even happen.♥️ Some people don’t understand how hard online students work, (especially being an athlete), and I think it’s because we never talk about it. Well, I guess everyone knows now since COVID. We are a special type of person, ones that are 100% self-motivated and independent. We make our own schedules, and if you don’t keep up, you’re screwed. (Every online student has experienced this🤣it’s hell). And above all, we are disciplined. We learned that if you need help, your teacher is not going to ask you, the responsibility is upon yourself to call. We’ve said “no” to going out when others would have said “yes” because we had to be able to get up the next day and train for 5-7 hrs THEN do school and studying. We never talk about what we’ve given up, because we would have rather spent our precious time working towards our goal than partying or relaxing with friends. (Yes, our ideal weekend is in bed watching Netflix😂 we’re always too tired to go out). We discovered what we wanted early in life and went after it.
