I would construct a phrase based on the feeling of my energy and movements, if the door was open I’d continue and if it shut closed I let it happen. Eventually coming back to it over time whenever it felt right. 3 months total tinkering around till it felt right and honest to myself. That old/new mixed together to make something that still feels great🤓 Hoping to match the Lo-Fi beats to the soul of the voice and the classic melody of greatness. At the end there is just doing my thing with the free flow and responding to the sounds.
