She had just started school here and I want to know, how do you feel about the June 1st start date for reception, year 1 and year 6 children? . I don’t envy the #parents and carers who have to decide whether they will or won’t send them back but I do respect that whatever anyone decides, they’ll be doing what they think is best. . Personally, I think I would lean towards sending her in (if it was her year group- she’s currently in y4) because we are told they’re #lowrisk. I’ve also read things about children not transmitting the virus but I don’t want to call that fact without full scientific support.🦠 . It’s a tough one. Some countries are back, some are not. The children need the #education and socialisation but at what cost? Has the last 8 weeks frightened us TOO much? . I don’t know the answers but I *think* i would send her in for a week, see how it was for us and then reassess my choice. . Ooof! What would you do?/What are you doing?
