As I spent time researching about John Glenn I learned quickly that all of his enormous accomplishments in battle, helping to pioneer NASA and his decades as a US senator - all of them paled in comparison to the love story he shared with Annie. From childhood they were basically inseparable and together met challenge after challenge always finding their way to the other side of it. I never had the honor of meeting her but she was a remarkable woman and I am grateful i had the opportunity to learn so much about her. Wishing her family peace as they mourn her passing.
