Happy 40th anniversary to Makarova’s “La Bayadere”! From the iconic shades scene to dancing Gamzatti. So much memories... From working with the one and only Susan Jones for the shades scene to shared many laughters and hard work together with my trio girls, @sarahlaneofficial and @merrynyc. And lastly working on Gamzatti with the two legend ballerinas, Irina Kolpakova and Natalia Makarova. There was a casting change due to injury and my name was all of the sudden under Gamzatti to perform. Since I wasn’t even learning the role, Irina and Natash taught me every steps at the Met studio. It is one of the greatest memory I will never forget and will cherish💕
今日はナタリア・マカロワ版「バヤデール」の40周年記念日です。私がABTで踊ったバレエの中でも、本当に沢山の思いが詰まった作品。有名な「影のシーン」のコールドバレエに「パ・ド・トロワ」。「トロワ」を踊った時はドキュメンタリー《情熱大陸》 @TBS「情熱大陸」
の撮影がありました。そしてガムザッティはガムザッティ役のダンサーが怪我をしてキャスティングチェンジになり、私の名前に変わっていたのですごくビックリしたのを覚えています。習っていない役だったので、伝説のバレリーナ、イリーナ・コルパコワとナタリア・マカロワの2人が短期間で私に一からステップを教えて下さり、一緒にリハーサルをしたのは私の大切な宝の思い出です💕
