I’ve been made fun of and judged all of my life for being Asian in the States. (Specifically “half Japanese” in America and seemingly totally “American,” [Not by looks alone, but personality] in Japan/Asia.) I always thought I was so awkward looking and weird. I have been asked a lot about this topic (being Eurasian) and I want to say I am truly proud of my roots. It took time, but being a mix from Poland/Russia/Germany/Japan is beautiful to me! I am so proud of my heritage and mix. I’m also so grateful for my grandma, who kept track of it all! I know there are many of people out there (maybe not Eurasian, but a mix of cultures) and I want you to be encouraged that you are beautiful and to embrace your heritage and yourself.
