I have spent the last few years learning how to really listen, and trying to educate myself on whiteness, white supremacy and systemic racism, and I know that’s just a start, but you have to start somewhere. Educating myself has been a humbling experience, and I’m comfortable with that. I welcome it. I don’t know everything! That’s okay. I am wrong- a lot! It’s okay. We have a ways to go. I’m not trying to tell anyone what to do. I’m just saying if you want to join me in listening, and centering Black voices, it’s a good start - I think.
