Today's scale is Dorian,
kind of minor.
Kind of blue.😎 But sometimes I can feel "Red"-ish sound in personal...😎 Sometimes reminds me of dwarfs are dancing in the cave...😎
The difference between Dorian mode to natural minor scale
is 6th note.

Usually 6th goes flat in natural minor but 6th goes natural in Dorian mode.

That makes sound like floating,
and some falk songs, Celtic music often uses Dorian on their melody.

You may feel as like loneliness and braveness from this mode.

Some famous jazz tune also take Dorian mode, like "So what"

When you start from 2nd note of C major scale, it's same as D dorian.

It fits over ⬜︎m7 chords as well.
