This week, Secretary of the Navy Kenneth J. Braithwaite took the helm of the Department of the Navy.
Secretary of Defense @esperdod swore-in the 77th secretary of the Navy during a ceremony Friday at the Pentagon. This isn’t the first time SECNAV Braithwaite served in the department. He began his military service as a naval aviator. As a civilian, Braithwaite worked in both public and private sector leadership roles. Prior to his current position, he served as the 31st U.S. ambassador to the Kingdom of Norway.
