Those of you who instinctively want to retort ‘All lives matter,’ I’m sorry to say but you are part of the problem, your deaf and blind to the injustices that black people face. I’d love it if all lives equally mattered but they well and truly do not. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Does it hurt that much to temporarily focus on the issues of your neighbours? Your friends? And for some of you even family. Give us a break and just help us try to fix this? ⁣⁣ Peace & love to all doesn’t make change, calling out injustice, prejudice, hate, racism and demanding change just might.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Why does discussing racism make YOU uncomfortable?
