As a POC-owned company we stand firmly with the Black community against police brutality and injustice.  Unif has been blessed to work with so many beautiful Black models over the years and owe much to the Black patrons who support us. We MUST ALL be a part of bringing down the walls put up by systemic racism that has been built into all aspects of society, economy, healthcare, education, employment, and tragically criminal justice. We NEED justice for George Floyd, his family, and all other Black lives lost.  We need to remember to continue to honor his and others legacies by pushing for real change.

There is work to be done on the streets for real change and work to be done for the youth for real change.  Empowering the youth and ending child poverty has been close to our hearts and a systemic issue we've been working to resolve in our community in Los Angeles.  For years we have been working with Champions of Caring Connections, an organization of compassion run by Ms. Bettye Randle who has been on the ground serving as the Homeless Youth Director for the Compton Unified School District.  CCC provides direct assistance to homeless families and youth in the greater Compton area.  Sadly, due to Covid, our 5th annual Unif Youth Summer Program with CCC has been cancelled.  It is with heavy hearts we watch this pandemic exacerbate already dire home situations. Food demand is at an all time high and homeschooling requires internet service and computers for the children to get an education.  Immediate relief is needed and demand for help has been overwhelmingly high.
