I’m hurting and my heart is heavy.
I can’t never understand exactly how black ppl feel because I’m Japanese.
But most of my life and career and who I am as a dancer is shaped by black culture. If I don’t speak up now then I can never call myself a “Hiphop” dancer.
I’ll keep continue to educate myself in history and racism but at least I want my mentors, brothers and sisters to know that I’m here with you to fight for EQUALITY and RACISM. #blacklivesmatter #justiceforgeorgefloyd
