1. Travel is the ultimate privilege of the rich in this world. You may not be rich in your country, but 1 billion people live for less than a $1 a day, more than half live for under $10 day. If you have 'spare' money for recreational travel, you're rich. As a white person, I don't get disrespected or mistaken for a cleaner at a hotel like my friends of color tell me they do on regular basis. The travel blogging industry is predominantly white (and blonde!). The fact you can enter countries, which again a lot of people from different countries can’t say because they will never get a visa is a privilege.

2. Those who tell me this is just an American problem and ‘Americans are so racist’. Easy to point a finger at someone else, but I have never been to a country that wasn't racist. Uk, my native Poland, Australia (Aboriginal people), Brazil, Italy. France... the list goes on. That racism is visible in the police force all around the world, because it's in the air we breathe and in the culture we are surrounded with.

If you're a conscious, open-minded and loving white person, It's time to point a finger at ourselves and say: I want things to be different. People of color need an ally, they need me, they need the white people to speak up. Wherever you are in this world, please share, speak up, be on the humane side of the history, so you can look your grandkids in the eyes and say: I was not silent. #icantbreathe #blacklivesmatter #iwantthingstobedifferent
