As James Baldwin said “White people are trapped in a history they don’t understand”. Our history has shaped the world we live in today and we are responsible for creating change. This book list is for anyone (but especially white people) wanting to be proactive and anti-racist. We MUST do the inner work and educate ourselves. These books are filled with history and unpack systemic racism. They also provide ways to excavate our unconscious biases, release them, heal and become true allies. If you don’t know where to start, I began with “So you want to talk about race?”, “white fragility”, “me and white supremacy” and “Decolonizing Wealth”. #BlackLivesMatter ✊🏽✊🏾✊🏿.
