And that awareness creates a chance to lean into our curiosity about one another’s experiences. ⁣ ⁣ The way Janaya guides and shares is powerful, generous, and massively impactful -- they are the ultimate storyteller. In their IGTV video, “What white people must know,” they say, “We're being called upon to show up differently…. Nobody starts out as remarkable. We become remarkable when we fight for freedom, when we fight for justice, when we fight for liberation. You, too, become remarkable. And isn't that why we are all here, to do something meaningful with our lives?” ⁣ ⁣ @janayathefuture’s calls to action are an invitation to show up for one another, more than we’ve ever done before. Here’s the challenge for this month that I am so on board for: ⁣ ⁣ “[To] those who do not identify within the queer, trans, and #LGBTQ community. Everyone always expects us to come out of the closet, well it’s time for you to come out too. It’s time for you to come out of the closet as anti racists, as intersectional feminists, as freedom fighters, as abolitionists, and as revolutionaries.
