I’m a Japanese Hawaiian girl who grew up in a place of extreme mix culture, and because of this I am Privileged.. As a privileged individual it is my duty to speak up. I’m angry. My blood feels hot, I wanted to use language that I’ll probably regret because of the anger inside of me. And I can’t begin to imagine the anger of families who have lost loved ones year after year, generations after generations due to this underlying issue, and that is Racism. It’s no wonder we are seeing this kinda action take place. Families and loved ones have had enough. And so have I!!!! It is my Duty to not be silent. To stand with those who are feeling a pain I will never feel due to the skin I was born into. I promise to do my part because our children and our children’s children do NOT deserve to live in this FEAR. BLACK LIVES MATTER !!!!!
