Over my life I have heard people say that black people aren't that smart and don't work hard, we are lazy and don't want more for ourselves. Well, I hate to break it to you but, this is so far from the truth. We have only wanted equal opportunity. Racism isn't just about the hatred of another race, it also is about policies and practices in America that keep black people from having access to good school systems, colleges and jobs among other things. Why do we not deserve the same as every one else? Thank you @lisaleslie for sharing.
