It’s important to us that we continue to support future generations of Black women. Today Breonna Taylor should have been 27 years old. In solidarity with Breonna and all Black women, and in direct response to the urgent needs of the community, Free People is working with @Talkspace to provide mental health tools for the Girls Inc. and Free People greater communities. We will support all Girls Inc. girls and staff across their 79 US affiliates, and we also commit to donate $300,000 to Girls Inc this year to support their incredible impact-driven work.
For the girls of Girls Inc.: We are providing practical mental health tools for their digital Learning Channel of Learning Central that all girls can access at any time.

For the staff of Girls Inc.: We are providing a webinar series focusing on self-care and burnout, to support them in their frontline work.

Young women are our future, and they deserve more because Black lives matter.
