57 police officers resigned from emergency task force for protests because the head of their union told them to stand in solidarity with the 2 men who were suspended for pushing an unarmed elderly man down in the street. The head of a police union thinks it’s ok to push an elderly unarmed man to the ground and walk away. He thinks pushing an unarmed person to the ground is defensible. This is systemic. This system is broken.
