These are the tough conversations we need to have. Even if you don’t think you are racist, it’s imperative that we all educate ourselves to understand the magnitude of systemic racism. I am engaged to an amazing human being who also happens to be black. And while I love him more than anything and have learned a lot about his experience, I still must continue to educate myself because I can never walk in his shoes. I/WE must understand history in order to understand the present and make changes for the future. Thank you @themanacho for creating this video and teaching people who don’t understand completely how they can continue to learn and grow.
