I wish it to be #oceansdayeveryday ❤︎ how nice would that be if the whole world united to help reverse the damage we have done to our oceans.
What is hard to understand is that the land, air and water aren’t a separate thing- it’s all a holistic, intertwined cycle. Our CO2 emissions in the air don’t stay on top- they are absorbed by the plants and ALSO ocean causing the water to become more acidic. The change in pH disrupts shell species like lobster, oysters, mussels etc, and causes the coral reef to dissolve. There are more steps in the cycle but let me stop here: all of that will eventually result in disaster and extinction of all life on earth.
If human was to disappear right this moment from earth, the planet would bounce back to balance within few years.
WE are the cause of the global warming and upcoming disaster. That’s whyWE have to take an action, change our everyday habits, change our world leaders who make decisions and change how we exploit the earth. I believe it’s not too late and we can do this. Because, #oceansdayeveryday ✨🐧🦑 ( sorry if I’m preaching but I’m very passionate about the topic)
