While this episode was recorded before the Black Lives Matter movement, (which has been and should always be a movement), we touch on online bullying and both our experiences with slut shaming. As Rachel and I know well, living in the spotlight under the constant judgment of strangers takes its toll. I feel like this is very relevant during this time as I have been disappointed these last couple of days while I read the amount of mean things people are commenting and writing to each other. For people that apologize for wrong doing and saying they will do better, let’s encourage them and hold them accountable. For those that say the wrong thing, let’s teach them why this movement is so important.
