I thought it was going to be one night. But sadly, it’s been a week. I praise his milestone and tell him how amazing he is and how proud I am for what a big boy he is... but the whole time I’m holding back tears. He has been in my arms ever since he came home from the hospital. When he was an infant, his lungs were always an issue so he slept on my chest... every night... then it turned into sleeping in my arms and then by my side. “Mommy I’m a big boy...” he says before bed.... but then In the middle of the night, he comes to my room, wakes me up, grabs my hand while saying “come sleep in Greysons room” .... and I will always will Greyson...
