Horrified by what’s taking place in our country, I asked my business partner, @producertommy what we were going to do about racial inequity in America. He put that question back to me. On our companywide call, he leaned into the zoom camera and said, “what are YOU going to do!?!” That was about two weeks ago. — Tommy inspired me to think deeply and differently about what my role needs to be moving forward as a white American, and what all our roles need to be. Clearly, it is to stand with our Black brothers and sisters!! — This is our answer, in proud partnership with @naacp #itakeresponsibility
The only wrong thing to say is nothing. And I Take Responsibility!

Before she passed, Nobel laureate Toni Morrison said what many Black leaders continue to say at this very moment, white Americans should “start thinking about what THEY are going to do.” Essentially, what @リアーナ said a few months ago: “when we’re marching and protesting and posting...tell your (white) friends to pull up!” Well this is me “pulling up,” this is US pulling up. I’m asking all my white friends and family to pull up too! Start by making your own #itakeresponsibility video and nominate your friends to do it too! I TAKE RESPONSIBILITY!!! @itakeresponsibility
