She accepted and today we chat about all things race related and how white people can be apart of the solution. She said something that made me feel better about fearing saying the wrong thing. She said, “Its okay to say, this is hard for me. I’m worried I will get it wrong. I don’t want to mess up but I accept that I will and here’s what I care about and here’s what I want to say.” Well, this is hard for me and I’m worried I will get it wrong but I want to be apart of the solution.
