Here's a screenshot of The ANNA Shelter's comment that was made on our fundraiser for our campaign to try to inspire The ANNA Shelter to stop declawing in their WELLNESS Centers. 🙀 Thank you to all the shelters/rescues in the Erie area who are taking a stand to protect innocent cats from this inhumane and unnecessary amputation procedure. They are telling us that they see lots of declawed cats who are surrendered because of behavioral issues from their toe amputations. Declawing does NOT guarantee a cat will stay in a home, in fact the opposite often happens. 😿💔 . A shelter/rescue should be an organization that takes a stand to protect innocent and vulnerable cats from this harmful, mutilating, and unnecessary amputation procedure and not one that condones and performs this barbaric cat cruelty in their WELLNESS Centers.
