We had to do an official poster for our lil film #RomancingReality per the latest festival we were accepted into. Seems like years ago but actually just months! Here’s my directors statement: “By showing three totally different men all wearing @31philliplim we see how the clothes can accommodate a variety of lifestyles and demeanors. This simple poetic approach effectively expresses a very rich idea - through fashion and style, any man can integrate a little romance into the reality of their day. It is delightful to have this peek inside how men get ready for the world. Seeing their personal quirks and vanities in front of the morning mirror, watching them making their wardrobe choices with the help of their toddler or new puppy or sleepy girlfriend! Existential themes are at play in this short film too - reflective of @therealphilliplim ‘s personal philosophy. Our three men represent very different circumstances yet share an evolved sense of awareness and engagement with the moment. They are modern men making the most of their morning, whether rain or shine . . .
