I came across this old video celebrating Mabel Fairbanks and other great American skating legends (including Debi Thomas, @tai_babilonia, @クリスティー・ヤマグチ) who transformed our sport in many impactful ways.

I have to admit I didn’t know much about Mabel Fairbanks(1915-2001) before these past few days when I started to research her. I’ve grown to be a huge admirer of her - the way she skated, coached and was just a wonderful human being.
