"I like to think I'm helping bring certain imaginary friends to life" says Tom Curtis, the artist behind the Instagram account @thingsihavedrawn. Tom receives drawings by children from all over the planet and brings them to life, inserting them in real contexts while maintaining the impossible proportions of the drawings, the googly eyes, the comical gestures, and the ubiquitous smile of a child’s imagination. For this issue of Vogue Italia Tom created a special series of artworks imagining a story behind the drawings of our June covers, where 8 young authors aged between two and ten reinterpreted their favorite look from the @シャネル Métiers d’art 2019/20 collection.
