There are times I’ve been afraid of losing friends, money, and opportunities. But black people are losing their lives. We’ve been stripped of our heritage and dignity and because of it we are traumatized in ways some of us can’t even articulate. I’ve been accommodating. This week is a watershed moment for me. As a Christian I will always love everyone, but that means I’ve got to stand up for what’s true. Satan wants my voice silenced.
