ケラーニさんのインスタグラム写真 - (ケラーニInstagram)「while home i had to come check the mural. @timothyb_art & @stevenanderson_art went crazy on the wall at @7thwestoakland a Black owned community space in West Oakland. also popped by my favorite Black owned magick shop @queenhippiegypsy who actually helped me set up my birth space when i had my homebirth in Oakland in 2019. stopped by @officialveganmob a Black owned vegan spot in Oakland for some good. ass. vegan. soul food... and today @theveganhoodchefs a vegan catering company/chefs, 2 Black women from SF who are also community organizers dropped me off some good. ass. vegan. food for the road!! if you grew up in Oakland or the Bay in general i feel like we’re used to having a surplus of Black owned businesses, we’re used to buying Black. when gentrification due to tech advancement started wiping our neighborhoods out, a lot of businesses and culture was lost. i learned SF is now ONLY 3% Black. we have to continue to support Black & local. it starts at home. if we all start locally, we can lift more powerfully across the country. if we hyper focus strictly on specific cities then a lot of our precious communities go underserved. i love my city! my city loves me. i don’t take that lightly or for granted. 🤝🧡 also forgot to add i got my eyebrows done by @allieyamaguchi while i was home 😍」6月18日 10時21分
