Sports can be a powerful tool to maintain health. Speaking for myself, it helps me calm down when I am overloaded and I can do it alone or team up with friends. However, sports also bears risks. It can make addictive, when sportists get caught by what they do, ignore recovery and follow extreme regimes. I have learnt to deeply listen to the signals of my body, do things I really desire to do. The more I enjoy what I am doing, the less I feel guilty for what I am not doing. Also this approach makes me stronger, maybe slowlier but in the long-term it supports better and especially healthier results. #tb South Africa // Rocklands 2014
