But how can we expect Black people to effectively lead their communities on the existential threat of climate when faced with the existential threat of racism?

We sometimes talk about racial justice and climate justice as separate things. But in the end, as @mary.heglar reminded us is in a recent episode of her Hot Take podcast, justice is justice, it’s all one — big enough to hold us all.
