Remember the days of the Deuter kid carrier backpack and carrying multiple BPA-free sippy cups and endless packs of finger friendly snacks? Remember not sleeping much and always on high alert for sharp corners and steep steps and fast cars? Remember even further back before that, when there were just two of us to splurge on and travel cavalierly? Then we decided we were ready for three, so he arrived, and oh! Surprise! Here’s a fourth person a little sooner than we might’ve imagined and didn’t feel prepared for! But yes! Let’s GO! We went into this wild wonderful world of FAMILY. Flash forward to now and our sons are growing tall and wiry and full of their stubborn, independent spirits that challenge us in more, shall we say, complex ways... Happy Father’s Day to our Wade, who is lovingly, carefully, moving these young guys into men of character, principle, action and kindness. Like you exemplify. We love you!
